A judge once told me, "I could go, anywhere, I wanted to with my voice." This gave me an intense desire to study music.
I graduated from UNT with a degree in Music Education and Voice. I studied with Grammy Nominated Jennifer Lane and Fabiana Gonzales.
I moved with my husband to Huntsville in 2016 for his job. I am going to Sam Houston State University for my Masters in Education.Currently I spend my time as a freelance balloon artist, judge on Huntsville Superstar, and I teach voice in the Huntsville School District, and managing music for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Conroe and Huntsville.
Performing Experience: I performed on an Opera Scholarship with FIO AMERICAS in Brazil. I worked with representatives from Georgia State, and Western university (Ted Berg). And Leanardo Verdoni (Joyce DiDonato). I performed with the UNT Collegium Singers on scholarship at the BOSTON Early Music Festival.I have also performed in works composed by Jake Heggie and the Dave Brubreck Quartet. I was the Messiah Alto soloist at the Artisan Theater five seasons. I conducted the hymns for the YSA DFW Worldwide Broadcast. I worked at UNT for 5 years as an Early Childhood Music Education instructor.
